Overview:

Alfalfa is considered a nutritive herb. It is easy to grow, packed with nutrition and flavorful. If wildcrafting alfalfa, be certain that it is not Genetically Modified. It is best to purchase from a reputable seller that offers certified organic herbs.

Cut when in full bloom, using shears. Hang to dry.

Uses:

Alfalfa is used fresh or dried, in tinctures, as medicinal food, in honey and infusions. The taste is fresh and green, almost grassy and very palatable to virtually anyone. Add to other nutritive recipes and it won't change the overall taste, but will provide all the health benefits.
