Guide Review - Aerogarden Indoor Herb Garden

I purchased the Aerogarden mini, a 3 plug indoor garden, directly from the Aerogarden website. It arrive within 1 week and assembly was very fast.

The unit is sleek and attractive. It fits nicely on my work desk and the only sound is from the slight bubbling under the plant pods. It makes much less noise than my one gallon fish tank also on the desk.

The grow light is ample and makes no noise. It turns on for 17 hours and off for 7. To set it to turn on with the natural light of the day, simply unplug it and plug it back in immediately. This will reset the internal timer to co-inside with the naturally occurring daylight in your location.

The pods are ready to drop into the bottom of the unit, that you fill with bottled water and a fertilizer tablet. After capping each one with the included clear top, there is no more maintenance, until the seeds sprout, at which time you simply remove the cap.

The nutrient tablet is replaced every two weeks and a 4 month supply is included. This is the recommended lifetime of the pods.

Currently, I have owned the Aerogarden for less than one week, and one of the seeds has sprouted.
