Guide Review - The Earthwise Herbal
Excellent book for anyone's bookshelf, The Earthwise Herbal is a fantastic writing. Knowing Matthew Wood's earlier work, this comes as no surprise. Wood writes in a way that bring deeper understanding to the reader, filling in the reasons why an herb seems to work. He makes sense of why and how a particular herb would be chosen and his obvious working knowledge, brings a realism to working with herbs in an everyday venue. If you buy only one book on herbs and their uses, this book is the one to turn to.
