Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 55 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 cups peppermint leaves
- sugar
- greed food coloring(if desired)
Preparation:
- Place leaves in a saucepan with enough water to cover
- Simmer for 30 minutes
- Strain through cheesecloth
- Measure liquid
- Place liquid and sugar mix back into saucepan
- Simmer 15 more minutes
- Add food coloring, if using
- Store in fridge for 1 month or freeze for up to 1 year
