I have been getting quite a few seed catalogs this past week. It's the sign that a new year is fast approaching, and I have some gardening to plan for. Every year,I start thinking about themed herb gardens. Of course, no matter how hard I try, my gardens end up a mish mash of purchased plants from catalogs, refugees from the store, seeds that I had to try out, and wild herbs that needed to be relocated to a safe place (away from my husband's weed wacker). I love the idea of a theme, but my theme seems to become muddy as the season progresses.
