Aqua Globes - A Review

I had a weak moment and bought a box of two Aqua Globes (Buy Direct) in our local drugstore. They were cute, and after hearing the commercial so often, I was curious if they worked. Here is what I did:
I purchased a set of two Aqua Globes. I then placed one in my Christmas cactus that loves neglect. Place other in my bucket herb garden on the desk. After 7 days, the globe in the herb garden, still has water in it. I have written up a full review in case you are planning on buying them as a gift.

I noticed the other day that you had one in your bucket garden picture and I was going to ask you how you liked it, because my husband has been talking about buying a few. Where is the review posted?

I LOVE mine! I put the link here: http://herbgardens.about.com/od/productreviews/gr/Gardenpail.htm . I also have a mini tomato one, that needs my attention. I was thinking of putting up a larger lighting system, and growing that along with some micro-greens. Fun!

OK…so getting off subject of the buckets and back on subject of the Aqua Globes…. are they a “YAY” or “NAY”????
Personally, I think that they’re a rip-off as most of that “As Seen On TV” stuff is.

If you want something cute for that *Gardener who has everything*, then YAY. For practical purposes, NAY.
Not to mention that the baby will NOT leave them alone. Ever.
