WW Mystery Herb Answer - Lavender

Of course, the mystery herb was lavender. I was learning to make lavender wands, needed some fresh stems, and was caught up in the fantastic scent. I recently heard that making a vinegar tincture of lavender leaves and apple cider vinegar, will not only repel mosquitoes, but makes a great antiseptic spray for counters? Anyone want to verify? I think it certainly sounds true. Lavender has antiseptic properties, as does ACV. Much nicer than that big-name-spray that is not to be used without rinsing??Yikes!
