It is finally time to start the garden season of 2008, here in central Nebraska. I am going to be stalking all the local nurseries for new and unusual herbs for this year's garden. Although I grow many, I will never have enough varieties of herbs and roses to satisfy my gardening urge.

If you have been strong, and kept yourself from purchasing plants too early, now may be the right time to pick your container garden herbs. Something small, like a kitchen container garden, can be easily moved to a protected location if you are supposed to get a late spring cold spell.
